CO2 Uptake in Colored Leaves

In a lab on 11/2/17, We decided to measure the rate of CO2 uptake on different colored leaves to see if the color affected the CO2 uptake. We predicted that the darker colored leaves would have a lower rate of CO2 uptake because it is dying and will not go through photosynthesis at as high…

Brooklynn grew up in Littleton, CO, near Roxborough State Park, where she grew an interest in the wildlife and evolutionary process of different species. She continued to study advanced math and sciences and was invited to assist with a research project at the University of Colorado Boulder at the high school level. Brooklynn went on to study at the University of Colorado Boulder where she will receive a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EBIO).
